Graphic Designer

Washington D.C.

Provide print and design services to nonprofit and public sector customers. Meet with customers to determine customer needs and desired outcome.  Create artistic designs. Develop design concept and select visual elements for the design, including colors, sound, artwork, photography, animation and type style.  Prepare sketches, illustrations and layouts for presentation to client.  Execute design and/or supervise and coordinate design execution. Design and develop instructional video clips. Create marketing materials and enhance website for the company. Manage design lifecycle through the firm’s project management system.

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Engineering. Two years of experience in job offered or two years of experience as a Web Developer. Must have experience in full graphic design lifecycle.  Must have experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Express, Macromedia Freehand,  , Macromedia Fireworks, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Pagemaker, AdobeGoLive, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Director.

We are a fast growing consulting firm with a strong focus on the Not for Profit Sector located in Washington, DC. We are looking for a motivated individual for an entry-level sales opportunity with the potential to grow with the company as you learn? This position will start as an inside sales position within DC office, but will quickly expand to an outside sales position.  We are looking for individuals with tremendous growth potential and a strong desire to succeed.

 
Duties:
The position would be responsible for managing hardware/software quotes with vendors and customers, generating new sales in hardware/software, cold calling prospective clients, managing inventory, delivering customer orders, and other sales related duties.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Must Have Associates Degree or 4yr College Degree
  • 1-2 years of sales experience
  • Must be able to communicate well by phone
  • Passion for Information Technology
  • Independent Worker
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Flexible work environment must work out of the office in Washington, DC initial

What’s Expected:

  • 65% of time spent doing outbound calls to set appointments
  • 15% of time performing sales demonstrations or Sales Webinars
  • 10% of the time doing research
  • 10% of time spent doing sales support
